New Year’s Super Moon.
New Year’s Day we will see the first super moon of 2018.
The first full moon of the year is called the full wolf moon, the old moon or moon after Yule it is also a super moon a full moon that arrives when the moon is at or near the part of its orbit that’s closest to Earth.
This moon will be visible on New Year’s Day will appear bigger than usual.
Though the moon will be at its closest point to Earth on Jan. 1, the moon will gradually appear bigger and brighter over the coming days.
This Super Moon falls under the sun sign of Cancer, this is fairly significant, because during the month of January, families often spend a lot of time together inside as they ride out the winter season, this should provide you with the ability to let go of the past in order to move forward to enjoy and celebrate your life and home to create a closeness with loved ones and start the New Year with a clean slate.
On Jan 31we have another super moon this one is called a Blue Moon, the second full moon during this month this super moon will also be involved in a total lunar eclipse, in which the Earth’s shadow totally covers the moon, making it a Blood Moon as well.
This moon will lose its brightness and take on an eerie, fainter than normal glow from the little sunlight that makes its way through Earth’s atmosphere, this often casts in a reddish hue because of the way the atmosphere bends the light so it won’t actually appear blue at all.
This event is made a bit more special by the fact that this super moon is one of three occurring in a row. The first appeared on December 3, this one is on January 1, and we’ll see the third on January 31.
Use this wonderful energy to focus on letting go of bad habits and things that no longer serve you as well as people that drain you, concentrate on you and finding new adventures and creative projects, may you find joy, peace and happiness in 2018.
